The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show 2018
Anyone interested in seeing some mechanical creativity will probably find a happy place in the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show. Run by the guys at Revival Cycles the show aims to showcase some of the best the custom scene has to offer. Revival Cycles specialise in bikes that are functional without compromising on appearance. They hold the show every year with the intention of inspiring people to pick up their tools and create something new. The bikes selected to appear are one-of-a-kind, hand built labours of love and come from all over the US and the world.
This year the show has a new, bigger venue: the Austin American Statesman. This means more room for bikes, 140 to be exact, and perhaps just as importantly, beer. The show looks to be something special for anyone looking to take some inspiration for their own projects or just fuel an obsession. It's aimed at increasing engagement with the custom scene and welcomes anyone with any level of interest in bikes, not just the veteran crowd. With a strong line-up of big name sponsors the event promises to worth the trip.
It will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of April at the Austin American Statesman and tickets and passes are available from the Revival Cycle webpage.
