The sewer dwelling king - The Nebuchadnezzar

Here we go time hopping again, so you know how the year is actually 2200? Well it is now. Also, you know how as a freed mind living in Zion its vital to have good transport through the surrounding sewers in which we live? Well, we've got the ship for you...or had, not sure where it is now. The point is, its name is the Nebuchadnezzar, after the king of Babylon mentioned in that old book that seems to cause such a fuss.

This legendry hovercraft floats around the colossal sewer passages using an array of electromagnets and was captained by the equally legendry Morpheus. This is the very same ship that brought Neo, believed to be 'the one' out of the Matrix and back to Zion. Built in the United States, or what was left of it, in 2069 this colossal hunk of high-tech metal played a vital part in the history of the free world.

The Nebuchadnezzar, like most crafts of the time, carried the capacity to allow its crew to enter the Matrix at will and to load their own digital constructs, facilitating training and a convenient way to explain to Neo that his whole life was a lie. In terms of armaments the high-tech hovercraft is a little crude, its only defence of any real power is the on-board EMP. This electro-magnetic-pulse allows the ship to disable anything electrical within a given radius, like machine sentinels for example.

While the Nebuchadnezzar does carry its fair share of cannons and guns these are of fairly limited use against angry sentinels and their spindly appendages. That being said, clearly piloted in the right way by the right people, the Nebuchadnezzar is a force to be reckoned with. At the very least it'd be well worth considering for anyone in need of trans-sewer transport...if only we knew what had happened to it.
